With styles ranging from classic to contemporary, we make it easy to discover the ideal fixture to complement your design vision.

Living Room

The living room is a dynamic space that serves as a gathering spot, entertainment hub, and even a cozy retreat. Visual Comfort’s lighting collections offer stunning options to enhance each of these areas, combining functionality with exquisite design. Imagine illuminating your sitting area with beautifully crafted table and floor lamps that can be easily repositioned to match your evolving furniture layout. For accentuating architectural features like a fireplace or piano, Visual Comfort’s signature sconces and chandeliers add warmth and sophistication.

If you have a designated play area or reading nook, sleek pendant lights or semi-flush mounts provide ample light while maintaining a refined aesthetic. Whatever the purpose of your living room’s various zones, Visual Comfort’s versatile fixtures help create a welcoming and well-lit environment tailored to your lifestyle.

Bathroom

The bathroom is a very important part of the house. Whether you have one bathroom or several, it’s essential for each space to have the right lighting.

When it comes to the master bathroom, you want the space to feel large and luxurious, and that can be accomplished with wall sconces for the vanity, a mini chandelier for ceiling, and dimmable recessed lights for the shower and tub area. With the right mixture of task, accent, and ambient lighting, your bathroom will transform before your eyes. If you’re going to be lighting a guest bath or powder room in your home, we can help you find new lights for those spaces as well. While not as large as your master bath, these bathrooms also deserve the best when it comes to lighting design.

Bedroom

Your bedroom should feel like a personal sanctuary, a place for unwinding with a book or enjoying a peaceful morning. Visual Comfort’s bedroom lighting options are designed to enhance this sense of tranquility while adding a touch of luxury. Beside the bed, beautifully crafted lamps provide soft, intimate light, perfect for evening reading or winding down. Overhead, consider a striking chandelier, a sleek pendant, or a classic semi-flush mount to elevate the entire space. Visual Comfort’s sconces can frame the bed or illuminate cozy corners, adding both function and elegance. For the ultimate in relaxation, many of these fixtures are dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance to suit the moment – whether you’re preparing for the day or settling in for the night. With Visual Comfort, every detail of your bedroom lighting can reflect both your style and your need for comfort.

Dining Room

The dining room is only used as an actual dining space a few times per year, such as during the holidays. However, there’s no reason why the room can’t have beautiful lighting all year long!

Everything begins with the dining room chandelier. This fixture is the focal point of the room, and it can inform every other design decision you make regarding the space. The chandelier needs to be the right size for the room, and it should hang no less than 30 inches from the top of the table. The other lights, such as the wall sconces and lamps, should match the chandelier’s design, while also providing task and accent lighting for the space.

Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of the home – a space for creating meals, entertaining guests, and sharing family moments. Visual Comfort’s kitchen lighting collections bring both beauty and practicality to every corner of this bustling space. Over the island, statement pendant lights not only provide essential task lighting but also serve as stunning focal points. Recessed or semi-flush ceiling fixtures ensure the entire room is bright and welcoming, while under-cabinet lighting adds a subtle glow for meal prep. For dining nooks or breakfast areas, elegant chandeliers or smaller fixtures create an inviting atmosphere.

With Visual Comfort’s diverse range of designs, you can layer lighting throughout your kitchen, ensuring that every area – from prep stations to gathering spots – is perfectly illuminated and visually striking.

Entry + Foyer

Your entryway sets the tone for your entire home, offering the first glimpse into your personal style.

Visual Comfort’s entry and foyer lighting options are designed to create a warm, inviting atmosphere while making a statement. For standard-height ceilings, flush and semi-flush mounts provide ample light without overwhelming the space. In grand, two-story foyers, Visual Comfort’s elegant chandeliers command attention, filling the area with brilliance and charm. Wall sconces or console lamps can add layers of light, enhancing the sense of warmth and sophistication. Paired with mirrors or artwork, these fixtures reflect light beautifully, making the space feel larger and more welcoming. With Visual Comfort’s stunning designs, your entryway can offer a seamless blend of function and style, ensuring guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive.

Office

Working from home is more common these days, and you may have a home office setup that you absolutely love. If you’re just getting started on arranging your home workspace, then it’s important that you have the right lighting. From the desk lamp to the overhead light, everything plays a part in productivity and efficiency.

Something to keep in mind for home office lighting is that color temperature is key. Office lights need to be bright, but the color temperature of the bulbs you use is what helps eliminate eye strain and fatigue. Our team can help you find the right fixtures and bulbs, ensuring that your office is designed for optimal workflow.

Hallway

Lighting a hallway can be challenging, since you have a long, narrow space with which to work. Depending on the length of the hallway, you can add ceiling fixtures every eight to 10 feet, ensuring there’s plenty of light. If the space is wide enough, you can install wall sconces in the spaces between the ceiling lights, adding even more illumination. Be sure to measure accurately, however, as you don’t want people bumping into the sconces as they walk down the hall.

If the hallway leads to a staircase, or there are several adjoining rooms connected to the corridor, then it’s imperative that there are lighting controls at both ends of the hall. That way, you can turn the lights on or off as you enter or exit the hallway!
